Fishtails Animal Rescue is a foster-based animal rescue located in Philadelphia, PA and accepts adoption applications from the tri-state area. Our adoption coordinator will reach out to you within 72 hours of receiving your completed adoption application.

By completing and submitting this form I certify that I am adopting this pet for myself, and that I am permitted to have this pet in my home. The information I have provided on this application is true and I have not withheld any additional information. I understand that if I willfully provide false information, or fail to provide relevant information, my application will be denied and deemed ineligible for further adoptions. In the event I can no longer keep the animal I adopt, I will return him/her to Fishtails Animal Rescue.

Application Processing Fee

Fishtails Animal Rescue requires a nonrefundable $4 donation to process your application, to help the rescue continue to save lives*.

*A large donation, although greatly appreciated, does not guarantee that you will be approved to adopt this animal, all applications will be thoroughly reviewed and the best home for the animal will be chosen. We reserve the right to refuse adoption to any applicant for any reason.

By clicking the submit button, I understand there is an adoption donation associated with adoption of a pet from Fishtails Animal Rescue and that it is tax deductible according to IRS 501(c)3 guidelines. I understand this donation will ensure the organization is equipped to rescue another homeless pet.

By clicking the submit button, I understand there is no "cooling off" period, and that if I no longer want or can no longer care for my adopted pet, I agree to notify Fishtails Animal Rescue BY EMAIL and provide a 14 day period to allow Fishtails Animal Rescue to make arrangents for my pet to be taken back into rescue.

By clicking the submit button, I understand that if I no longer want my pet, or am no longer able to care for my adopted pet, I will be directed to surrender my pet to Fishtails Animal Rescue and provide transport to where Fishtails Animal Rescue deems appropriate.

Should your newly adopted pet from Fishtails Animal Rescue experience a life-threatening health issue, Fishtails Animal Rescue must be notified if euthanasia is being considered a possibility.
